The Fabled ScottishDream Website

In July 2007, in a drunken slightly creative spurt I had an idea to create a website to do something with the photos I’d taken and worked on until that point.

Even when I’d sobered up this still seemed like a good idea so I even bought the domain scottishdream.co.uk – which links back here.

Nowadays I’m using Flickr to display these but I still think that there might be scope to use this domain to resurrect the idea.

Here’s a picture of the initial design:

I’d like to get this going again for a few reasons:

1. Despite my obvious flaws at taking photos I think some people like them and might want to buy some little ones for their houses – I’ve already made a sale to the office.

2. I could do with some online filespace anyway – Blogger, Flickr and Picasa can’t store and link to my odd files – like KML’s from walking routes.

3. A proper website address would look better on literature……

4. Control. I like to be in control.

Anyone using any online web hosting that’s cheap and uses IIS?

Also I think your photos have been interesting so far. From what's on here and Flikr anyhow. Give it a go I say, what's the worst that could happen?
